This full day ceremony is all about connecting back to your inner purpose, your passion, your power within. Using Shamanic practices, we will be guiding you on how to make your very own animal skin medicine drum which can be used in ceremonies or energetic practices. This is a full day event for you to connect to your medicine drum, using the heart-opening medicine of Cacao and Shamanic meditation journeying and then sealing in the intention with a 2-3 hour sweat lodge ceremony (temazcal).
This full day experience weaves together ancient Druidic & Aztec cultures of working with Spirit and Self to claim your purpose.
Join us as we step into a heart opening ceremony of connection and creativity as you birth your very own medicine drum.
Create your own 40cm diameter, sustainably harvested, fair trade drum (Skins are random selection due to the nature of the collection)We will be starting this ceremony by journeying into the space of animal and spirit guides.
We will use Cacao to open the heart and Shamanic journeying to connect with the otherworld. Once connected, we will be asking our Spirits to help connect us to the medicine of the drum as we then go on to birth them into the world.
Finally, we will step into the sweat lodge to seal the ceremony and truly connect with the animal Spirit medicine of our drum. A truly transformational day of reclaiming your inner fire, your purpose and re-discovering hidden aspects of yourself.
Mathew Manwaring is a Fire ritualist and Men’s work facilitator who has studied with the Mexican Aztec tradition of Temazcal (Sweat Lodge) in Mexico for many years. He weaves Druidic traditions and practices in with his ceremonial work and provides a safe container allowing you to delve deep within and embrace the new.
Leroy has a wonderful intuitive ability working with Abuelo Fuego (Grandfather Fire) and caring for people on a deep, vulnerable level.
Elodie Weith is a holistic healer with a deep interest in Shamanic work. She’s a Reiki master, Holistic Counsellor, Yoga & Meditation teacher and is stepping into working with women to reclaim their feminine power. Elodie holds space beautifully, allowing energy to move intuitively through her and releasing it to Pacha Mama.
Please note that this will be a big day- both physically, emotionally and mentally. We invite you to sit with yourself prior to ceremony and think of your intention for that day. Please eat a sufficient meal before arriving that will last you throughout the day. There will be snacks provided on the day but no heavy meals prior to the sweat lodge ceremony in the late afternoon. Please let us know if you have any blood pressure or medical issues prior to joining.
