“Yogas Chitta Vritti Nirodha” – “Yoga is the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind”
I’m a Yoga Alliance Certified 200 hour Rocket Vinyasa & 50 hour Yin Yoga teacher. I completed my 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher training with Anna Martin Yoga in December 2020 and my 50 hour Yin Yoga teacher Training with Gabrielle Feingold from Momentum Yoga in September 2021.
I fell in love with Yoga about 5 years ago when I attended my first Vinyasa flow class in Caloundra and loved how it made my body feel and my mind quiet. I have dabbled in Hatha, Bikram, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Power yoga and Yin but I have found my true calling as a Yin Yogi! I love the feeling of mindfulness my practice invokes as I link the movement of my body with my breath.
I practice the Yoga Asana’s 3-4 times a week which helps to keep my body toned alongside with my other physical activities. For me, Yoga is much more than just the physical postures, it’s a way of life and I strive to live my life in line with Patanjali’s 8 limbs of Yoga. Practising Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation) & Pranayama (breathwork) and a bit of Wim Hof breathwork is my morning ritual as these practices help me to stay calm and focused and remain the observer of my thoughts as go about my day. My favourite Yogic Pranayama technique is Kapalabhati as I love the feeling I get from it.

I strive to live my life by incorporating the Yamas and Niyamas which are the essential fundamental outlines of following a Yogic path as found in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra’s. My favourite Yama is Aparigraha or non- attachment/non-greed which means living my life with basic necessities and not feeling attached to material items. My favourite Asana is Astavakrasana (8 angle pose) because it’s really fun to get tangled into!
I am also a qualified Chair Yoga and Meditation Intructor with the International Meditation Teachers & Therapists Association (IMTTA)
I’m available to teach Yoga (Vinyasa, Yin), Chair Yoga & Meditation classes, workshops, corporate workshops and retreats. Please email or ring me if you’d like to know more information. Namaste
